Community groups in Leicester have until Friday to rush in their bids to Leicester City Council to bid for a slice of a new £700,000 support fund.

Councillor Hussain Suleman, the city council's Lib Dem cabinet spokesman on education and lifelong learning, said: "We are hoping for some exciting and innovative projects."
