Parmjit Singh Gill "The Labour Governemt is depriving the City of an estimated £20 million in grant funding"

PPC for Leicester South and Councillor for Stoneygate Parmjit Singh Gill has attacked Leicester's Labour run council over their lack of action over the Government's grant funding for the City.

The City's grant funding is based on out-of-date projections dating from 2004 said, Parmjit Singh Gill, he went on to say that the latest information suggest that at least 10% of the City's population is not recognised in grant funding, depriving the City of an estimated £20 million over five years.

Parmjit Singh Gill said. "Labour have failed Leicester on three fronts, their Government isn't giving Leicester the funding it deserves, Leicester's three Labour MP's or Leicester's Labour run council haven't taken strong enough steps to tell this Labour Government that this is an unacceptable state of affairs."
