48 Bus Service Improved

The Stagecoach 48 bus service into town along Hinckley Road via West Bridge has been re-routed to improve accessibility to the Market area.
The 48 will now enter the City via Newarke Street, Pocklingtons Walk and Horsefair Street and so therefore improving accessibility to the Market and Town Hall etc. The route will then continue on a loop via Charles Street.
This is broadly the kind of service suggested by Western Park Lib Dem Councillor Roger Blackmore earlier this year.
