Aylestone Wards Cllr Nigel Porter sees his No to Labour’s Parking Tax levy pass 1500 signatures

As the Leicester City Council Workplace Parking Levy consultation closes next Sunday 13th March, Cllr Porters opposition petition to the scheme has now passed 1500 signatories on change.org the popular petition based website.


Described as "a shameless attack on workers" the petition has been picked up by several local and national media outlets from across the political spectrum in recent weeks; most notably the Leicester Mercury, Daily Express and The Guardian.
