Leicester City Council is considering selling some of the Hall's land

Developers could be offered a cash incentive to restore the historic Braunstone Hall.

According to local press, an anonymous developer approached the council about revamping it, however they could not afford the total cost to redevelop the hall without some financial help.

Leicester City Council is considering selling some of its land to put into a fund for whoever takes on the redevelopment.

local campaigner Ian Bradwell who supports the Hall coming back into use, he said, "I had older brothers and sisters who attended the Hall when it was a school, its a much loved building by local residents." However he was very concerned with the fact that some of the land around the Hall could be sold.
