Campaign Boost in Leicester
Baroness Ros Scott, the President of the Liberal Democrat Party visited Leicester today to give a welcome boost to the campaign.
Baroness Scott's visit was greeted with the news that Parmjit Gill has been given a 65% chance of winning the Leicester South seat from Labour by www.electoralcalculus.co.uk. The website which predicts the next General Election result using scientific analysis of opinion polls and electoral geography across the country.
Ros took office on January 1st 2009, as Party President, Ros's role is to chair the Federal Executive Committee, to be a spokesperson for the party membership and to represent their views to the party leadership.
