Local Eyres Monsell Focus Campaigners Scott Kennedy-Lount and Christopher Garner reminded residents in their latest Focus Leicester City Council has already sent a letter earlier in the Summer of 2015 confirming who is able to vote at their address. The letter should have been sent back to the City Council with any alterations as soon as possible. If Residents have not received a letter from the Council or have recently moved into the property and want to register to vote, contact the City Council on 0116 4542000 or go on line at www.leicester.gov.uk and click the "Register to Vote".

Don't lose your say on the important issues. There will be an Election for a Police and Crime Commissioner on Thursday 5th May. The Commissioner is responsible for setting priorities to the Leicestershire Police Service for the next four years.

Also not far around the corner is the European Union membership referendum which has to be held before the end of 2017. David Cameron has already written to the President of the European Council to ask for changes in our "relationship/dealings" with Europe.
