Eyres Monsell Post Office. Chris and Scott ask: Will the new opening times be fair in comparison with future provision in other Leicester City Wards?

Chris Garner and Scott Kennedy-Lount, Eyres Monsell Liberal Democrats Focus Team Campaigners have written to the Post Office in its consultation process with concerns about the level of service offered in Eyres Monsell when its services are expected to move into the Monsell Pharmacy on The Exchange should it go ahead in the Spring.

With similar moves to Post Offices from their current premises in neighbouring Aylestone Ward where their Post Offices could potentially stay open longer; up to 9pm in the week and on Saturdays, with a service until 2pm on Sunday, Eyres Monsell's future Post Office service in comparison will be open just for an extra 30 minutes in the week and on Saturdays but will close even earlier than its neighbouring wards on Sundays.
