The Leicester Mercury highlighted on Wednesday 1st September a motorists issue with parking in one of the privately run car parks in the City Centre.

Leicester Liberal Democrats Treasurer, Scott Kennedy-Lount wrote to the Leicester Mercury (published on September 4th) raising points of "trust and faith" being required in car parking in Leicester highlighting experiences at both Dover Street car park in the city centre and at Watermead Park (City side) at Alderton Close.
