One of Guatemala famous golden sand beaches which could of been seen by our globe trotting Labour councillors.

While most of us have to make do with October's winter weather, the Lib Dems find out that our Labour Council leader along with some of his cabinet chums are enjoying the sun at taxpayers expense.

Local press stated that the Labour leaders latest 'jolly' cost Leicester taxpayers £5,120 for flights to Guatemala & Nicaragua and £2,191 on hotels. However this isn't the only trip that Labour cabinet members have undertaken 'on behalf' of the people of Leicester.

Poland, Germany and Cork in south Ireland are just a few more places Labour cabinet members have visited over the past few years on their FREE tour of the world.

Lib Dem PPC for Leicester West and Leader of the council group Peter Coley told local press; "I think it's an absolute disgrace and a huge waste of money. It's clearly just a jaunt, at public expense, with no real justification."
