The problem of illegal fly-tipping in the alley way between The Newry and Southfields Drive is beginning to become a major health hazard.

The lastest bunch of black bags dumped include food rubbish which is attracting rats and mice to the alley way area, which is used by school children and residents as a short cut to the shops.

Cllr Dean Ramsdale the councillor for the area said, "If anyone has any information with regard to who may be doing this, either contact the councils new anti-social hotline which is 101 or myself on 0787 0554 936.
