The conversation between the two schools centred on community cohesion and the war on terror and its impact on local government.
The Lord Mayor Councillor Roger Blackmore talked about Leicester while Bill Newton-Dunn, member of the European Parliament chatted to the American students about the relationship between countries in the European union and Councillor Dale Keeling answered questions on government.
