Ian Bradwell. Championing Diversity and Disability at Leicester Liberal Democrats

Ever since the Disability Discrimination Act was incorporated into the Equalities Act (2010) issues concerning disabled people have been pushed further down the agenda.

For example: Accessible entrances into buildings I personally feel we are still treated as a second-class citizen. We do not seem to have a voice of anyone who will Champion these causes for us. The Leicester Liberal Democrat Party believes in embracing diversity issues in their fullest form.

The party wants to champion these barriers and welcome any information from the wider Leicester community who shares our concerns.
