The children are the future of this country and it is disgusting they are suffering from lack of funding
in their schools. Lack of books, lack of pencils, even having to close schools occasionally on Fridays
because they can't afford to keep schools open five days a week.

What is worse, something which isn't often spoken about and which is hidden and regularly talked
about is the impacts of lack of funding on our disabled children.

An able-bodied child can get about spontaneously all they want, but there are schools where it is so
underfunded that the visually impaired children have to share long canes. These children have to
wait for the teacher to come back to the room to pass the cane so they can move to the next
classroom. In 21 st Century Britain this is disgusting, but sadly not unusual. We tend not to care a
great deal about our disabled children, (almost as bad as treating our senior citizens where
occasionally deemed as patronising them and ignore them, when we should be sitting down,
listening to them as they have the wisdom of their years).

Don't forget the hidden children, don't forget the disabled children, campaign for funding for them as much as able bodied children.
