Cllr. Parmjit Singh Gill said, "If you do receive one of these letters and have any further concerns please contact your local police station."

Lib Dem Stoneygate Councillors, Hussein Suleman and Parmjit Singh Gill are warning their local residents to be on their guard this summer from receiving a letter from Spain!

A member of public has contacted the police regarding the letter that he has received from Spain notifying him that he has been awarded a large amount in an international lotto programme.

The letter advises to contact Apple Security Company SA by a certain date to process your prize award to an account of your choice. Attached to the letter is a payment processing form asking for personal details, next of KIN details and bank details.

Councillors Suleman and Singh Gill along with Leicestershire Constabulary ask that you bring this to the attention of your members, friends and families and advises that you don't complete the processing form or contact anyone listed in the letter.

If you do receive one of these letters please contact your local police station as soon as possible.
