18 months after the completion of the successful Liberal Democrat petition led by Scott Kennedy-Lount presented to Leicester City Council during the 2010 Eyres Monsell Ward By-Election campaign requesting residents of Kelso Green much improved parking facilities; the Focus Team recently surveyed residents asking how the area has improved since the car park was completed.

Local campaigners Scott Kennedy-Lount and Tony Faithfull-Wright are pleased to report that from a warm welcome on the doorstep 72.73% of respondents advised that the work carried out was a huge improvement, 18.18% some improvement and the remaining answered a slight improvement. No response claimed that the work saw no improvement.

Residents have been contacted by letter advising of the results.
