Lib Dems concerns proved right by Tory Leader of Kent Council

26 Apr 2010

At the last full council meeting, Liberal Democrat councillors presented a motion on the possible devastation to the County's schools due to proposed Tory party policy. The conservatives rejected the motion and refused to even acknowledge any problem with their party's policy.

However, the Tory Leader of Kent Council (the largest education authority in the UK) has raised his concerns about the impact of his OWN parties education policy.

What does this tell us? That Leicestershire Conservatives blindly follow the orders from their party HQ and wont think for themselves about the realities of their proposals. Only local Liberal Democrats have the guts to stand up for Leicestershire's schools.
