Liberal Democrat's Budget Survey launched

6 Dec 2010

The Liberal Democrat Group on Leicestershire County Council is asking residents to help identify a list of Council services that should be protected from budget cuts currently being planned by the Conservative Administration.

The survey which can be completed on this website is a chance for the public to tell us their priorities before key spending decisions are taken at the budget meeting in February. Paper copies will be available by contacting a Lib Dem County Councillor.

Group Leader Simon Galton said: "Last year we ran a very successful letter writing campaign to local community groups and the information proved useful in helping us to develop alternative proposals for the budget. We hope to do the same this year with this simple survey. "

The Survey can be accessed by clicking on the "Leicesterhire County Budget Survey" on the left hand column of this website.
