Scott Kennedy-Lount has been chosen as a candidate by the Lib Dems to fight in the Eyres Monsell By-Election which is due to be held on the same day as the General Election on May 6th.

Scott is a well known active campaigner, already involved in working for local people. Scott has campaigned for the old Invincible Pub site to be cleared, only last month he attended the full Council meeting urging the Council for quicker action on the site. He pressed the Council for action on various dangerous pavements and got the Council to replace broken benches on Hillsborough Road.

Parliamentary Candidate for Leicester South, Parmjit Gill said, "Scott will make an excellent Councillor for the area, he knows the problems it faces and is already involved in sorting those problems out."
