A BRAND NEW recycling station, which will accept paper, cardboard, glass bottles, clothes and shoes, will open on Aikman Avenue, New Parks, between the Good Neighbour public house and the shops.

The facility has been set up by Leicester City Council on land donated by its housing department, and is intended primarily to service a number of large blocks of flats in the area.

This is part of the aim of Liberal Democrats who work with the environmental movement for a greener Leicester.
