No one to blame but the Mayor and Labour Party for Leicester’s Covid crisis

Sadly Leicester is back in the top two areas across the whole country for covid infections. The question everyone is asking - Why is Leicester at the centre of high infection rates again & where is the quality Leadership from the council? Why is the Labour run authority failing to properly answer important questions time & time again?

The Labour mayor looks increasingly clueless - especially when he suggests that the persistently high case levels were down to particular problems that he clearly thinks can only be found in Leicester. But Leicester is not unique in terms of housing or deprivation - However Leicester does have ONE particular & unique problem & that is the diabolical Labour leadership.

Leicester's labour council has been flagged up by the national & international media for all the wrong reasons. Last year the Labour mayor received the undesirable title "Labour's Lockdown Clown" & he was branded by senior government officials as an "Imbecile." Local Labour councillors are on record as saying they are embarrassed by the negativity the city has received in the press.

The mayor can blame everyone he wants & the government but most sensible people have recognised the particular problem in Leicester - the political disease of the hegemonic dominance of "one-party"; incompetence.
