For every mobile phone successfully recycled, £3.50 will be donated to WCRF.

Saffron campaigner Allan McCaffery is asking residents if they have been lucky enough to have a new mobile phone for Christmas, then why not use their old mobiles to raise money for charity.

The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) need the old mobiles for recycling. For every mobile phone successfully recycled, £3.50 will be donated to WCRF to help them continue with their valuable cancer prevention work. 2008 saw WCRF able to invest more than £25,000 towards its cancer research and education programmes as a result of people recycling their old mobile phones. Please help them to raise more than that this year.

All you have to do is simply pop your old handset in an envelope, marked clearly that you are supporting WCRF UK, and post to: FREEPOST, ShP Solutions, Lancaster. Alternatively, to be sent a freepost recycling envelope call freephone 0800 970 1461 or email recycling@wcrf.org.
