Party President praises progress in Evington.

Following on from Thursdays polling in Evington Ward where Zuffar Haq MBE scored 20% for the Liberal Democrats in terms of the share of the vote increasing the number of votes cast to the party by 107% compared to 2019, Liberal Democrat Party President Mark Pack paid tribute in his daily blog on www.markpack.org.uk .

Mark commented "... a third place for Lib Dem Zuffar Haq rather than a win in Leicester, but one that's important in its own way as its an example of those good third places that Jonathan Calder rightly called out a few years ago as being an important part of the party's recovery."
