Local Lib Dem councillors joined community groups and residents in a patch walk around St Matthews today.

The group walked around St Matthew's, to see what still needs to be done in one of the country's most deprived areas.

Lib Dem Councillor Mussa Saleh, who is one of three Lib Dem councillors for the Spinney Hills Ward said, "The walk had been a useful way to see what residents wanted done in the area, homes have benefited greatly from an improvement programme and St Matthews as a whole was looking cleaner and brighter." he then added in the local press; "There is still work to be done but it was great to see what has been achieved so far."
