Vote for Zuffar Haq in Evington, Today, Thursday 3rd February

LLD
Zuffar Haq

Today, Thursday 3rd February the voters in Evington Ward have an opportunity to elect a new Leicester City Councillor.

Five reasons to put your vote to Zuffar Haq, the Liberal Democrats candidate:

Saving our Green Spaces: Zuffar will oppose any plans to build over the wooded area at Linden Primary School "the green" on Sedgebrook Road and the playing fields at Rowlatts Mead School and Judgemeadow Community College.

Boosting Health and Social Care: With experience of being a member of the Patient Panel, Zuffar will fight for increased funding for local health services and for more doctors and healthcare workers.

Better Local Transport: Zuffar will work with local residents to help develop a traffic plan to ease congestion - especially at major junctions with Uppingham Road. He will challenge illegal parking outsides schools.

Cleaner Streets: Zuffar will push for a decent maintenance plan for the repair of our roads and pavements. He will pressure the council to regularly cut grass, clear litter and clean the graffiti that blights our neighbourhoods.

Safer Neighbourhoods: Using his experience as a former board member of Crimestoppers, Zuffar will challenge crime and anti-social behaviour by working with local residents, the local police and community services.
