What will you do with your extra £600?

The Liberal Democrat Party Political Broadcast was aired last night.
It highlighted how Lib Dems in government had worked to reduce income tax by £600 per year, giving hard pressed workers a little bit of extra cash in these difficult times. Over 300,000 of Leicestershire's residents will benefit from this taxbreak and nearly 30,000 will no longer have to pay any income tax at all!

The Liberal Democrats in Leicestershire have also worked hard to minimise tax for local residents.
Residents in Oadby and Wigston and Hinckley and Bosworth, both Lib Dem run Councils, have seen their Council Tax frozen for the last three years, minimising tax for the residents there. They've also found other ways to save residents money, like reduced parking charges in Hinckley and Bosworth.

We'd like to bring the same good practice to the County Council too.
We want to deliver Leicestershire residents the best value for money services.
£millions in taxpayer money won't be wasted on fancy offices and chauffer-driven cars on our watch!
