Members and supporters from across Leicestershire joined the Liberal Democrats National Day of Action for an "Exit from Brexit" in Leicester City Centre at lunchtime today. Team members held discussions with local shoppers around Leicester's Clock Tower with a positive reaction from the public irrespective of how they voted in June 2016.
Leicester City Council are expected to spend between £1.8million and £2 million on renovating the back of the Corn Exchange in Leicester's Market Place in the coming weeks. The current back of the building appears in a sorry state since the demolition of the Indoor Market. The plan is to place a large screen to cover up, vents, ducts and fire escapes.
